Russell Fine Chemicals was established in 1987 to manufacture and supply insect sex pheromones. 1989 saw the company expand its activity to supply fully formulated pheromone lures, mainly for agricultural purposes.
Three years of consistent activity has established Russell with a firm base in the European market, taking the lead with unsurpassed performance, particularly relating to a number of insects of strategic importance.
Since 1991, Russell has turned it's attention to the public health market in Europe, and launched a number of products for the P.C.O. sector. Russell also adopted a number of products from other companies to compliment the range. Russell can now lay claim to the widest range of pest monitoring devices from a pheromone company in Europe.
The Future
Russell, whilst acknowledging increasing environmental awareness, has engaged in a number of joint ventures, seeking to develop and market a range of biological and natural agents for the control of pests and weeds.
This commitment will firmly establish the standing and philosophy of Russell to enable the continued exploration of the valuable resources nature can offer.
