Friday the 18th November will be the day on which Russell IPM's Sales Manager Gina Taylor will stop in front of a Samaritan's Purse office in Cheshire, open the boot of her car and, much like Santa, unload a load of festively wrapped boxes. This year, Gina has organised the Russell IPM donations to the charity in aid of children around the world who would otherwise not receive any presents for Christmas. Everyone at the company contributed either by wrapping shoe boxes in coloured paper and filling them with toys, clothes and school supplies for children in need, or by paying for their delivery. Each box was then carefully labeled, to mark whether the gifts inside are for a boy or a girl and for which age category: 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14 years of age.
Samaritan's Purse will ensure that all gifts arrive to their destination, where they will be sure to make a child smile by letting him or her experience the gift of Christmas generosity. All Russell IPM employees and their children look forward to seeing who received their presents. If you would also like to participate in Operation Christmas Child, the final day for dropping off a shoe box full of gifts is 18th November, at a Samaritan's Purse office near you.
